Charlie Kirk should've known this was coming.

Numbered console generations were made up by a random Wikipedia user in 2004 in an attempt to standardize the "__ era game console" articles, and nobody ever corrected it. It's nonsense that no actual historian uses and you have permission to ignore it
Oh yes, the infamous anime where the character doesn’t get punched when he cleans an animator’s desk; he gets shoved into a wall via dude’s fist.

Laura as a snow leopard, suggested by Ashers BC!
Finished season 14 of King of the Hill.

I had mixed feelings about the earlier episodes, but at the end it all kind of came together.

Honestly, I think that was intentional. Make things feel alien at first then slowly have things returned to something that feels like normal.
Update: my laptop is not happy.
upgrading my vps and my laptop to #debian 13...

Let's hope this all goes well. I mean, it should, but I would rather not have to deal with BS for a week.

Then again that's also a chance to learn, so...

90s gaming wasn’t a hobby.
It was sacred.

Blowing on cartridges. That PS1 startup sound. The chunky gray N64 controller. Memory cards. Nintendo Power. Strategy guides. No internet. No updates. Just you and the game.

We didn’t know it then, but those were the golden days💙🎮

I'm honestly beginning to wonder what the point of being here is when people want to post unhinged replies to things you didn't think could get an unhinged reply to, either because they want clout or because they bloody well feel like it, better reception to my videos and blogs be damned.

All I or anyone has to do is make a legitimate complaint about something about a certain promotion and eight people immediately block.

Toxic positivity.

Don't even get me started on the wrestling contingent of the site. Especially an Elite part of it.

Now I've had two people I've followed deactivate in less than three weeks because the dogpiling culture that so many of us wanted to get away from and wanted to prevent now reigns supreme.

This is honestly the worst I have ever seen the site be.

We, the early users, created the Bluesky culture of "simply block and report," but nah, y'all said "fuck that." Y'all wanted to dunk on people and cause even more bullshit and make this place just like Other Site.

And now this bullshit is all over the place here.

I've never been more disappointed.

It hasn't been the same since 4th Quarter 2024, you have more and more idiots scamming, you have a staff who has handled things since that time in very unpopular ways, and "the Bluesky way" has been overtaken by the old Other Site dunking culture.

I've been on this site almost two years now. August 7th is the two-year anniversary.

After everything this site has been through, I can now safely say this site was better when it was invite-only and the moderation team gave a damn.

Y'all really made Pete Skerritt deactivate over this.

I haven't been this disappointed since Nerdy Dude Ken deactivated over people being assholes a couple of weeks ago.

Great job, Bluesky. /s

I get that being a gamer in the 90s and playing the latest games and witnessing the latest technological advances at the time weren't perfect, due to PC requirements, game-breaking glitches that couldn't be fixed AT ALL, no (widespread) Internet, and other things.

No reason to be a damn dick.

I love how not even a few minutes after this last post, I've already seen a few people that prove the point of this last post.

We live in a society.

Better to keep your mouth shut and err out of caution with a block than say stupid shit, get screenshotted, have it last even after you delete whatever jackassery you want to spew because you want to dunk for Intarweb points.

The former can be corrected on the down low. The latter lasts forever.
