The moment it was announced Garrett was running as a Labor candidate in the grounds that he wanted the leverage to achieve things I thought to myself if he gets in they’ll make him open a uranium mine at some point and guess what happened. He paid the price for falling for their bullshit.

The park run at the domain is frequented by an ex-labor MP who got punted from the party due to allegations of being a sex pest and is a huge supporter of the stadium idea. I have admirably restrained myself from punching him in the face every time.

The only way to be free of it is through some scientists coming up with a silver bullet, but if that comes at the expense of the magical stadium then that’s a price every Tasmanian with a rare illness will have to pay.

The diabolical thing about glioblastoma is that there’s no treatment currently able to get rid of it, just hold it off from starting up again when you get 6 months tops. The good news I got last week was that it hadn’t started up again and I am back to waiting for the axe to drop.
