Happy Pocket Monster night to those who are observing it (or who already have it...)
krynis.ca
it brought me straight from "I wish these games had story modes again" to "They should probably stop making story modes" over the course of one stream
krynis.ca
it might partly be due to the forced perspective combined with weird aiming
krynis.ca
might continue playing it anyway for how lovely the story telling is but it is frustrating to be sure.

picked up Raji enhanced edition on sale, the music, background and story telling are beautiful, but the combat is for my taste incredibly unfun... it's hard to explain but it just feels off.

Nocturnal Throne imo isn't as polished or stylish as Megabonk but it's also not finished and it does do some neat things also controls very well, wish listing it.

This was written endearingly if not clear, love my leftest lesbian friends.

Here is a shot from Nocturnal Throne, a demo for a Megabonk like (which in turn is a 3D survivor like)

the first of every powerup you pick up is visible on your character and as a result I now look like a leftest lesbian and I am into it.
a small woman with a black bob haircut, big glasses and a red pointy mage hat with a viking horned helmet hanging off the peak and dress wielding a 3 claw weapon along with other random objects hanging from her dress, undead and skeletons are exploding behind her, she looks feisty.

it's interesting to see games already in demo form trying (and in at least one case succeeding) in copying Megabonk

if this whole thing wasn't so awful I'd almost have to admire it for exposing how hateful so many of these people actually are.

Nothing gives gamers confidence in your sequel game like abandoning your original game with a ton of technical issues to make said sequel.

so Steam is directly promoting games with Gen AI in Nextfest... uncool.

I think the best part of this is that the transformers fans I know are unlikely to find this offensive.

This is cool as hell, NileRed releasing his own chemistry kit based on the BZ or Belousov–Zhabotinsky reaction.
We're making chemistry kits!

Good so far but I took a break for a bit due to my addiction to Megabonk, but probably getting back into it soon, I had just started the aquarium, so far seems fine, difficult but doable.

there is a fun example of dyslexia here where I mixed up where the U and O go despite quite well knowing where they got in this context.

Rofl Adam Savage releasing a video on how inflatable customes are made on his youtube today isa choice, a choice I respect.

Me: I should stop playing Megabonk, I keep upsetting myself and it's not a great mindset for this game

also Me: but what if this time is better?

I am glad the game itself offers the choice between the arrange and the original, I do like some of the new arrangements but some range between pointless call backs to things that came out after and others are just meh.

at launch you had to scroll through every single thing you'd learned.

its an only up style game but designed for everyone to enjoy with a lot of quality of life to make it rage inducing but still rewarding to do well in, I've been quite enjoying it.
