You know what I’m craving, actually? A protein-carb combo. Like a… chicken salad sandwich. Not even a burger, feels too heavy… tho the steak, roasted potatoes, and asparagus spouse made a couple of days ago was 👌

The plan: maintain minimum dose ozempic fo r 2-3 wks; discontinue CGM when this sensor ends; add in prednisone 10mg — dose will increase if no benefit after 7 days.

We’ll see what comes of it. #LongCovid

It’s so weird. My sweet tooth was not typically a problem for me weight wise and MCAS has severely limited what sweets I’m able to eat for the last couple of years. but to be like “I don’t want cookies I want salad” is WEIRD. I need to beef up my salads tho… they’re satisfying

My kid is competing in the school district spelling bee tomorrow. No one can seem to say what the format is (written or oral) and/or whether parents typically come to watch or if it’s better if they don’t come… it’s at her school immediately after dismissal so no drop off req for us 🤷‍♀️

Three days in to ozempic — 1) MCAS is mildly irritated (I itch when I eat); 2) nausea is intermittent and totally bearable; 3) it is really easy to forget to eat… hunger cues are muted, like background noise. Still present but not urgent-like if that makes sense?

I'm keeping a paperback 'cause even though I cook these recipes a lot, I don't have them all memorized.

Sending 2 each to Library and Archives Canada and will scatter some among the Little Free Libraries in #NewWest.
