It’s actually pretty common, it was the fourth-most common cancer in the US through much of the 2000s. By the time it’s caught, it’s usually far too late for remission.

Not really. I wish Bernie wld retire after this term, but starting a new, high-stress career in an unfamiliar city isn’t comparable to continuing a high-stress job you’ve done for 20 years.

That’s pragmatism, not hypocrisy. Also, I’m not a Vermonter, so their gerontocracy bothers me less.

I hope Bernie retires, but in the meantime he’s a good fundraiser. In order to raise funds, he has to have a legal place to put them, like a reelection campaign account.
