The egregious part of Modern Warfare II’s campaign was using American war crimes as inspiration and having the Baddies do them. If it was ment to be a critique it didn’t work.

I mean it’s really not a reboot of Modern Warfare 2 (2009) it’s a sequel to Modern Warfare (2019) which is very different plot wise from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (2007).
