New showreel - #RealtimeVFX

#UnrealEngine, #Niagara, #Houdini and Fusion. With the exception of 1 DEM texture and a PBR set, all elements are scratch-built and hand-crafted, mostly procedurally.

Please feel free to DM for an extended portfolio including tech art, PCG and shading.

And for something completely different - volumetric VFX and shading in #UnrealEngine fueled by the bits of #Houdini magic!

ALL SHOTS are completely interactive and captured at runtime in realtime.

#FunFact: Most of the year Quorushes are completely green and assume their famous coloration only during the mating season. They often live in groups and communicate through a complex system of hissing and clicking sounds.

Ok let's go for the #PortfolioDay .

Here are some robots and mechs.
I'm a senior animator and I'm looking for work as a concept artist to make the statistics lie.
My portfolio on Cara here :

A wandering robot painted on Krita with visible joints and mechanics. Cybernetic Greyhound ready for racing. Just his head remains alive, the rest of the body gis made from synthetic muscles and adjusted fairings Researches of robots head and system and lifting systems on my IP named Yellow dawg. A sketch of a weird robot with a big hammer. I still don't know why tbh..

Here goes Erica – a Purplefin Quorush!

These funny-walking creatures can be found in middle latitudes and feed on mosses, fungi, lichens and plant seeds – basically everything that can be found on or near tree trunks and doesn’t fight back.

#FunFact: Most of the time Tabletop Dragons crawl just like caterpillars and resort to their trademark hopping only when crossing open areas like garden pathways.

This is Desmond – a Tabletop Dragon!

Quite a rare sight since these species prefer to avoid attention and signal their presence mainly through little wet traces they leave behind. Disliked by gardeners for these very traces and devoured shoots of decorative plants.

#FunFact: Due to rudimentary vision system, Electric Thornsides rely on echo location to navigate. Constant spinning helps their sensitive sprouts to gather more data about surrounding space.

This week meet Charlie – an Electric Thornside!

Despite the popular belief Thornsides are not poisonous. Night hunters, they use bioluminescence to attract small insects and stun them with slight electric charges.

C is for Canary Hawk!

Small and agile. I also seem to really enjoy the animalistic metaphors in #vehicledesign.

Once every few months i open this little procedural möbius loop file and render some different seeds.

A little world in the shape of a möbius loop. A road goes along the loop. Some houses and windmills are scattered around. Cars are driving on the road and a plane is flying through the clouds.
