The Stegosaurus was alive during the Late Jurassic period, 155-145 million yrs ago, and the T-rex lived at the very end of the Late Cretaceous Period, 68-66 million yrs ago. This was new information to me a few months ago.

Nature is so cool....and weird.

Thats why I grow them too. My son has to eat low fodmap so being able to have the garlic flavor without the stomach pain is such a treat for him.

I think Halloween might be my favorite time of year now as opposed to Xmas.

I was thinking about why that is today, and I realized it's because as I age, I'm embracing my mortality. The cycle of life and beauty of that cycle. The freedom to embrace the wisdom within feminine spirituality.

Yesterday, I planted about 350 garlic bulbs. VERY near the area where I was working, we had had a live trap set to catch critters through the fall. Well, it had another skunk in it, but my husband couldn't get to it to deal with it, and I wanted to plant my garlic.
