A law was passed a long time ago to place a plaque on the wall to honor the officers who defended the Capitol on J6. The plaque is done and has been ready to hang up for a long time. MAGA Mike refuses to comply with that law, which is a slap in the face to every officer. bsky.app/profile/atru...

I was just notified of yet another death in ICE custody — 20 people have died in their custody since Trump came into office.

ICE is detaining people, mostly in private, for-profit prisons that put profit over health. There must be accountability and oversight.

The plaque honoring the law enforcement officers who responded to the January 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol, which was commissioned by Congress in 2022, remains in storage. Mike Johnson has refused to place it on the wall, as was intended. That "deed" speaks pretty loudly.

Dear media,
1/ ICE consistently lies about its violence toward people in Chicago, with its initial accounts later disproven.
2/ When protesters shout at ICE agents to get out of their neighborhood and ICE tear-gasses them and throws them to the ground, that's not a "clash" – that's ICE violence.
