My credits connection approach this year was great for getting to movies I might not have otherwise considered, but problematic because it often took me much too long to pick my next movie when going through the options. Still, I'm excited for next year (whatever I end up doing)!

31. I, Madman (1989)

A delightful conclusion to my month of movies. Jenny Wright was great, and I really enjoyed the vibe throughout this one. Coupled with The Gate, this is a nice one-two punch from Tibor Takács.

30. After Midnight (1989)

I am a sucker for anthologies, so this hit the spot tonight. Ramy Zada kicked off his second appearance this year with a bang and did his job pretty well. Strong mix of folks in this one!

29. Hellhole (1985)

Really fun movie that knew what it was and went all in on it. Ray Sharkey was a delight throughout. Going in blind meant I had no idea there was going to be so much nudity...it was a lot. Nice to see Robert Z'Dar as well.

Will see 1987 or 1989 for that last movie depending on where you look/what you go by, but I am rolling with 1988 based on alleged European theatrical release (MIFED would be the '87 basis, but that seems to not really count based on my bit of research). Not really a big deal.

28. Dark Tower (1988)

Bit of a dud here. Slow, dull, not well put together. Sometimes going in blind leads to this result. Strong cast, but kind of a waste.
