Immigrants are Scotland: your NHS nurses, your kids’ teachers, your next door neighbours.

This ‘island of strangers’ rhetoric is dangerous and dehumanising. A stranger is just a friend you haven’t met yet—and Scotland is better off because of immigrants.

The Westminster race to the right has left families struggling while the rich get richer.

We can build a fairer future. A fresh start with independence.

Join me at 3pm as I set out that hopeful vision for Scotland.
Scotland is a nation. And like every nation, Scotland has the right to decide its future.

Together, let’s make Scotland’s voice heard. Sign here: yes.scot/decide

Team Dunfermline SNP at #SNP25.
Great to listen to Ivan McKee MSP and Stephen Boyd, director of @ipprscotland.bsky.social, at #SNP25 speak about a modern industrial strategy for Scotland and what public policy can do to maximise economic and social benefits from industrial development in Scotland.
While gutted amendment A fell, the @snp.org now has its Holyrood strategy to win and obtain independence.

Honoured to have spoken in favour of the amendment and tried to get it passed.

Thanks to #SNP25 for having this debate on the party’s strategy for independence.
I’m standing to be your @snp.org NEC rep in Mid Scotland & Fife.

Scotland needs fresh energy and the courage to bring the wider independence movement together.

If you're going to #SNP25 Conference, vote Kieran MacNeil for NEC - let's reignite hope for independence.
I welcome this agreement between the SNP and BiS - a great step towards working with the wider independence movement.

We must bring all pro-independence parties and organisations together.

By working together, we’ll make the case for an independent Scotland. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Seizing a humanitarian flotilla in international waters is an act of state aggression and a breach of international law.

Israel must be held to account, and the UK government must act now to secure the release of the Scottish nationals kidnapped by Israeli forces.
For the record: this is not about attacking John Swinney or the resolution. His resolution lays a strong foundation, and the amendment builds on it.

It keeps the SNP at the heart of the independence movement while making sure every pro-independence vote counts.
2026 cannot be treated like 2011. The political landscape has changed drastically, and our strategy for independence has to change with it.

Here’s why I’m backing the Tweeddale amendment at SNP conference 👇

Why I'm supporting the Tweeddale amendment of John Swinney's independence resolution at the SNP Annual Conference.

Good news from the latest stats: unemployment is falling in Scotland, and remains below the UK.

But Labour’s rise in employers’ national insurance still holds us back, making it harder for businesses to hire.

It’s a tax on jobs and it must be reversed.
I’m standing for NEC to make sure our members and activists are heard, branches are supported, and that independence stays at the heart of our movement.

With your support, we can build a stronger party - one focused on delivering independence.

Just landed from the US after a round of productive meetings, including with President Trump, pushing for a better deal for our Scotch Whisky industry and standing up for Scotland.

More on this at my press conference at 2:30pm.
Great to see First Minister @johnswinney.bsky.social in D.C., standing up for Scotland's interests and pushing for no tariffs on Scotch Whisky.

Scotch Whisky is one of Scotland's largest exports and accounts for thousands of jobs and contributes billions to Scotland's economy.
An update on my visit to Washington DC to promote jobs and investment in Scotch Whisky 👇

Labour, Tories and Liberal Democrats are all on record stating that Scotland’s future should be Scotland’s choice.

So here’s the question every Scot deserves an answer to - what’s changed?

It's your right to decide - sign the declaration. www.yes.scot/decide
Large bold text reads “These people agree that Scotland’s future is for Scotland’s people to decide.” Below, handwritten-style text asks: “So what changed?” Grey torn-paper design background. SNP imprint along the bottom.

The Westminster system made people poorer with austerity and Brexit - and now it’s trying to distract from those failures by scapegoating people who have been through unimaginable hardship.

It is pathetic, it is cowardly and I will have no part in it.

The danger isn't immigration - it's the politics of fear and the hate covered as "concern."

Scotland is better off because of immigration. No lie will ever change that. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
Immigrants are Scotland: your NHS nurses, your kids’ teachers, your next door neighbours.

This ‘island of strangers’ rhetoric is dangerous and dehumanising. A stranger is just a friend you haven’t met yet—and Scotland is better off because of immigrants.
"They're taking over."
"They're a threat to women."
"They're not like us."

It’s the same lies on repeat. Every. Single. Time.

Immigrants aren't a problem to be solved. The real problems are caused by those scapegoating immigrants to hide their own failures.
The UK had the ability to return migrants to EU nations under agreements we signed as a member.

The same people now screaming about "floods" of people are the ones who pushed for Brexit and tore up our partnerships.

Their outrage is fake. They want hate and division.
🧵 Immigrants are not the problem.

The real issue are those exploiting fears - weaponising immigration under the guise of "protecting women" or "protecting their culture."

Immigration is being used as a political football yet again by those who are responsible for this mess.
Thank you, John, for speaking up on this.

We must do more to end the famine and genocide happening in Gaza at the hands of Israel.

We need urgent action for peace and aid now.
Famine has now been officially declared in Gaza City.

Families and children are dying of starvation, and this is just not a tragedy - it is genocide in plain sight.

There must be an immediate ceasefire, urgent aid into Gaza, and sanctions on Israel.

Grateful to people in Lerwick for your questions and thoughts on Shetland’s future, hosted by local SNP candidate Hannah Mary Goodlad.

The challenges and opportunities here are unique - and it’s vital we listen and empower communities to deliver the best future for the islands.
