While gutted amendment A fell, the @snp.org now has its Holyrood strategy to win and obtain independence.

Honoured to have spoken in favour of the amendment and tried to get it passed.

Seizing a humanitarian flotilla in international waters is an act of state aggression and a breach of international law.

Israel must be held to account, and the UK government must act now to secure the release of the Scottish nationals kidnapped by Israeli forces.

For the record: this is not about attacking John Swinney or the resolution. His resolution lays a strong foundation, and the amendment builds on it.

It keeps the SNP at the heart of the independence movement while making sure every pro-independence vote counts.

Good news from the latest stats: unemployment is falling in Scotland, and remains below the UK.

But Labour’s rise in employers’ national insurance still holds us back, making it harder for businesses to hire.

It’s a tax on jobs and it must be reversed.

This ‘island of strangers’ rhetoric is dangerous and dehumanising. A stranger is just a friend you haven’t met yet—and Scotland is better off because of immigrants.

The same people now screaming about "floods" of people are the ones who pushed for Brexit and tore up our partnerships.

Thanks to Scotland’s @snp.org government, young people in Scotland are achieving more in their English and Maths exams.

Our education system is delivering for Scotland and narrowing the attainment gap for students across the country.

Shock as 35% more Scots 16 year-olds pass English exams and 14% more pass mathematics exams, than 16 year-olds in English schools do, to force Labour into panic and plans to just give up on exams

Famine has now been officially declared in Gaza City.

Families and children are dying of starvation, and this is just not a tragedy - it is genocide in plain sight.

There must be an immediate ceasefire, urgent aid into Gaza, and sanctions on Israel.
