Just reflecting on the last sentence, we came back to AoNZ in 95 with a desire to live rural in the south, circumstances conspired against us for over 25 years, but we kept the dream alive and here we are. Theres a mountain of luck and privilege involved, but also a dream.

Its all good, I walked down the hill to the calves, its sunny, the ocean is right there and gorgeous, birds a chirping all around, and im alive, fed and healthy.

I told the dogs and calves all about it and they didnt give a shit cos they're alive, fed and healthy too!

And my guess is that they're pushing all the port upgrades back onto the port companies which will be paid for by higher fees anyway.

I have had a day and I was jacked up to get on here and have a winge to get rid of it but then I realized that im a lucky and privileged person and really have nothing worthwhile to complain about.

Suffice to say that i have felt the need to bring a beer with me to enjoy while I feed the calves.

Theres still a lot of work going on in AoNZ either planning or actually building data centers and i am certain people are going to get burned when the bullshit bubble pops.

It currently takes 2.5+ years and $32.5bn+ a gigawatt of data center development and OpenAI says 10GW of Broadcom chips will be deployed by 2030.
