Our system failed us. The electoral college. The 25th Amendment. Impeachment failed us, twice. The Supreme Court. The DOJ. The media failed us. Our Constitution didn't fail us, it just requires honorable participants and now, we are about to lose that as well. That’s how erosion works on democracy.

I used to (and still accidentally do) see clips of Roger Stone and think the man has lost his effen mind and now I listen to Donald Trump (with less and less regularity) and I cannot tell the difference. The Joker has taken over and is now in charge of Gotham. This is like a bad movie.

Agreed. And every fkn day I watch out "team" get up to bat and over and over again it's a swing and a miss with few exceptions while Republicans are moving bases, using illegal bats, bribing the umpires, and using time outs they don't have.

I'm really challenged to watch the news anymore. It's not that I don't care, it's just so damn overwhelming from the aspect that, “Of course Trump said or did something crazy and unlawful.” Followed by, “Of course Democrats are outraged.” Every day marks another day we, the people, lose more ground.
