Holding this book for the first time was a feeling I’ll remember forever.

16 months ago, I signed the book deal. One month from now, you finally get to read the damn thing.

June 3rd
The Franchise: Toronto Blue Jays

Copies of “The Franchise: Toronto Blue Jays” sitting stacked on a counter.

The cover is blue with red and white text. In the background of the text, the CN Tower stands above Rogers Centre
John Schneider says that there was a tight decision between Isiah Kiner-Falefa and Davis Schneider with Santander out.

Feels like Davis Schneider could be the late-game option if the #BlueJays see a lefty or need to chase some power.
John Schneider said that Anthony Santander woke up feeling sore, stiff and “all sorts of October”

Still TBD on where he will be available off the bench tonight, but I wouldn’t expect it… #BlueJays
Kevin Gausman will start Game 5 for the #BlueJays

Trey Yesavage could be available out of the bullpen.
I'll be standing at the cash, arms crossed and shaking my head.
The #BlueJays have agreed to score one (1) run for every sale of 'The Franchise: Toronto Blue Jays' today.

(You may only hold me to this if Game 4 goes well).

#BlueJays win, 13-4.

Shane Bieber’s rebound was impressive, which held the door open for the lineup to explode.

They’re down 2-1 now in the ALCS, and it feels a hell of a lot different than it did.
The #BlueJays are blowing the doors off the Mariners.

It’s 12-2 in the sixth after Alejandro Kirk’s opposite-field shot.
The #BlueJays have awoken.

Now, it’s Vladimir Guerrero Jr.’s turn. His 4th home run of the postseason puts them up, 7-2.
George Springer, 431 feet to dead centre.

The #BlueJays are suddenly up, 6-2. This is one hell of a response.
George Kirby has completely lost it here in the 3rd.

The #BlueJays have piled on with five runs, now up 5-2.
The #BlueJays finally get their big swing from exactly where we all expected: Andrés Giménez

They’ve tied it, 2-2.
Julio Rodríguez just took Shane Bieber deep and this place is already shaking.

#BlueJays down 2-0 early.

They needed to avoid the big blow and score first. They’ve done neither.
Jay Buhner was just out on the field, trident in one hand and microphone in the other, firing up the crowd at T-Mobile Park. Really cool scene.

It’s rocking in here for first pitch.
Nothing like a regular season #BlueJays trip to Seattle in here for Game 3.

Still see some Jays fans, but it’s not close. T-Mobile is an incredible environment when the Mariners are hot.
John Schneider was pretty direct about moving Anthony Santander up in the lineup today, saying it’s about chasing a big hit amid all the soft contact.

“Let’s try to get something going, right?”

“Let’s try to have a few less jabs and a few more uppercuts.” #BlueJays
I like the decision to bat Santander 4th and bump Barger down.

Santander’s at-bats have felt close. I still think he has a big moment soon. And damn, the #BlueJays need it.
Game 3. #BlueJays

We’ll be hearing from John Schneider, Chris Bassitt and Game 4 starter Max Scherzer pre-game.

Hello from Seattle.

Games 3-4-5 of the ALCS here tomorrow. I’ve covered a postseason game here before and it’s a wild environment. #BlueJays
