That's the most cynical expectation. Twenty countries were present yesterday including the Arab countries and Turkey. Not for fun, but to assure that the peace process will be just.
Two issues are equally crucial: Israel retreating from Gaza and Hamas de-militarise.

Internal changes in the US proably are the main cause. More people of all denominations are fed up with this war.
Gaza is nearly completely flattened. There is nothing to 'gain' anymore for Netanyahu.

Biden called Netanyahu an 'asshole' yet he allowed him to march to Rafah while before Biden (and the rest of the world) had told him not to do that. Biden lost his leverage over N. He could have paused military suport. Also deminishing Jewish support in the US for N. could be a reason.

Op 14 oktober 1930 overleed mr. Samuel (Sam) van Houten in Den Haag op 93-jarige leeftijd. De voormalige minister van Binnenlandse Zaken was woonachtig aan de Riouwstraat 6. Onder grote belangstelling is hij vier dagen later begraven op Oud Eik en Duinen in Den Haag. 1)

Dit oude verwerpelijke christelijk antisemitisme wordt niet meer gehanteerd in de kerken, behalve dus bij deze ultra-orthodoxen. De SGP moet er alsnog afstand van nemen. Zoniet dan hebben ze geen recht op een plek in het parlement. Dat geldt ook voor de PVV.
