I’m writing it down because I still can’t fully comprehend why he felt the need to repeat. I think I ended the convo the last time he said it with “well it’s because I saw oasis this year, they fixed me” because that’s a joke I often make. I just don’t get it man

The second time he said it I just laughed. The third time I think I made a comment about how I got rid a lot of dead weight in my life and that really made a difference. When he kept saying it I thought maybe he was fishing for a return compliment so I said “thanks, so do you” etc

Last story of the day: ran into someone I used to spend a bit of time with and he told me how happy I looked at least six times over the course of the conversation. Like, it felt like he went out of his way to say it. First time I just said thanks, because what else was I supposed to say?

I’m really making an effort to watch hockey this year! But I really need a team to follow if I’m going to care. I’m a Cincinnati Reds fan so I probably need to find a team of a similar frustration level 😂
