Hats off the doctor who managed to fit my Mirena coil today in less than three minutes, with minimal pain involved (just a hideous few final seconds with the clamp). She was a cervical wizard. 10/10.

My mother has tamed a local squirrel to eat nuts out of her hands. And he is now boldly walking into her kitchen, and even her living room, in his ongoing quest for more nuts… 🥜 🐿️

🤦‍♀️ I’m going to show up for Christmas dinner and the squirrel will be seated at the table…

Off work until Monday and feeling very happy about it.

Then I remember I have a big garden to “put to bed” before the cold weather arrives, and a house to deep clean, and a load of errands to run, and TWO different gyno appointments to attend.

And I’m ever so slightly less happy about it.
