Giuseppe Verdi (1813 - 1901), the composer is buried in the crypt attached to the retirement home for elderly singers and musicians in #Milan

The floor and part of the walls of the crypt are covered with marble and bronze garlands. The upper section is decorated with mosaics featuring grieving figures and an angel. The name of the composer is inscribed on the tombstone.
