Anyway Way & Kenta are biological but everyone else is some weird foster / adopted / IDK Tony's Weird thing. But Charlie's whole thing with Babe is deeply creepy and suspicious. Charlie sets up a meet-cute at like a company party and Jeff is like 'oh no, he's pathetic, I gotta'.

I realize that with just Old Fashioned Cupcake and 1 0Things I Want To Do Before I Turn 40 there isn't really a trend per se of BL of dudes feeling their age and their younger puppy top underlings. *But* I appreciate it for what it is.
