I just realized that between December 1st and January 1st, I uploaded no less than 15 #Danish translation #romhacks To RomHackPlaza!

Meaning there are now 1,500% more #NES games available to enjoy in Danish than before!

Public handholding?

Huuu-boy.
This one requires some snack, I think.

In this extremely comprehensive, in-depth 2½ hour long video,
@st1ka.bsky.social goes through every officially and commercially released FPS game developed in Japan since 1985 and all the way up till today.

I am covering EVERY First Person Shooter EVER made in Japan.

From 1985 to 2025, that's over 40 years and 70 games of gaming history.

This was without a doubt the most ambitious video I've ever made.

Your work is honestly some of the most impressive on the Master System in this decade.

Just wanted to share this super cool tech showpiece from @rovertronic.com over on Twitter

Demonstrating a cool new technique in Super Mario 64 to make portals just like you'd see in, well "Portal"

It looks kinda surreal but it's a super impressive visual effect!

Sounds like an expensive mistake xD

Reminds me of when I was doing my translation hack of The Jungle Book.

I had to make a change to the word "Paused"
But no matter what I searched for, it didn't show up.

At some point, I found out that it was due to them having spelled it as "Pavsed"

Wasted 2 hours on that xD

Do you like Snake?
And do you love the #Gameboy?
AND do you love 4-player Gameboy games?

Then you should check out @bbbbbr.bsky.social and their new Gameboy #homebrew

"Den of Snakes"
a competitive take on the classic
for up to 4 players
(friends not included)

I would love to see a romhack someday that removes the necessity for the N64 controller Pak and just replaces it with normal battery-backed SRAM

Something I always wondered was whether a StreetPass mini-game in the style of Angry Birds would've worked,
In where you would launch off the people you had run into?

Kinda like the target game in Smash Ultimate

When that 0x084FAA kicks in, that's my jam xD

Even though the passion for video games from the show's creators are clear here, whomever was in charge of the SFX
seems to have opted to use those generic Atari 2600 Pac-Man sound effects that so many other shows of the time always default to use.

Must've been the only game sound on the SFX disc

Even vanilla GoldenEye could most certainly benefit from some code optimization to bring it to a stable 30fps.

I really miss "Megas XLR" from the early 2000s Cartoon Network days

The show was so silly, dumb, unhinged, and over-the-top awesome, featuring so much nerd-culture appreciation & references/parodies from gaming & animé,
which was really rare to see in media at that time

I reckon if they had also emptied a bottle of
Gummy Berry Juice,

They would probably have reached interstellar territory

Wait. Is Pokerus transferable to humans!?

"White Pointer Game"
Just released a new video in his series where he covers many of the complex, innovative techniques & tricks
developers of the 90s used to achieve some of those seemingly "impossible" visuals
on systems you wouldn't think capable of pulling them off.
