I do believe masking any time I’m in a public indoor space has substantially lowered my getting sick.

The one good thing about being immunocompromised and having to basically isolate and be extra careful and make sure everywhere is that I haven’t truly been sick for a long time.

So I don’t remember if colds were always this bad. But wow, this is so much more miserable than I’ve been in ages.

If you're comfortable, & you have everything you need taken care of with a little extra, you don't have to give to mutual aid, but why wouldn't you? The hoarding mindset is capitalist. You can easily be part of the community that supports real life vulnerable folks. We're all we got. You gon learn.

Jewish holidays almost over, hoping dearly that I’ll be able to continue resting & actually come back properly. Chronic pain is exhausting, & really takes over every part of your life. Especially when you really can’t avoid using the injured parts.
Also still trying to complete my new care team.

I did not want to ever have to touch on this again, it’s honestly really painful. My best streamer friend was all a front & never the person I thought he was, and it destroyed a community I cared about. But it’s far worse for the people he painted as abusers, when it was truly Ci.

Not to beat a dead horse but Ci's back on Twitch in case anybody wants to ban/block him preemptively. I was looking at my blocked users on Steam and saw he'd changed his name to his new Twitch url. I wouldn't make a fuss, just block/ban and move on.

Years ago, a Rabbi changed Yom Kippur for me forever. See, multiple times we recount our sins/the sins of our community, and as we do we beat our chest. I used to think of it as a punishing hit.

Again, many Jews will not be online for over 25 hours.

As a side note, personally I highly prefer “have a meaningful fast” over “have an easy fast,” as we are fasting for a reason and if it’s too easy I actually feel like I’m cheating, in a way. But that’s a personal preference.
