One of my absolute favorite designs by somebody from PWoT is this little guy. It makes me smile every time. (Also John Carpenter’s The Thing is my favorite horror movie and that is my favorite scene in it.)

I saw The World’s End in the theater 24 times which means I saw the trailer for Don Jon 24 times. If I never hear Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch’s “Good Vibrations” again it’ll be too soon.

Those “weeds” are both in the aster family. The purple one is a New England Aster and the white one is an Arrowleaf Aster.
Fun fact: flowers that plant themselves are properly known as “volunteers.”

This is my sister's cat Mercury. He was originally named "Havoc" because as a kitten he was destructive as heck, but it was changed because he is mercurial (he will be sweet one moment then turn and bite you the next).

This is Pan. I adopted a girl kitten and named her Pandora, since her eyes were always wide open like she was surprised (imagining that's what she looked like when she opened that box). Then my vet said "Pandora has a penis" so I had to change it. He was a mighty hunter and I imagine that whenever he escaped the house all the bugs and lizards in my back yard would flee in terror. The Greek god Pan was reputed to have this effect should you meet him out in the wild so it was a no-brainer to just shorten the original name a bit.

This is Loki. He was a troublemaker from the get-go; he never cared much about going outside but he would figure out ways for Pan to escape. I adopted him as a kitten with Pan but they were from different litters, so I went to a different pantheon.
