I was informed today that a lot of special needs / disabled girls and women are put on birth control by family members because they are at risk for being raped by men. That thought never even crossed my mind, that is so vile.

Society often blames women for being raped ("what was she wearing?" or "why was she out late?"), reinforcing the idea that women are responsible for male behavior.

This victim-blaming is part of a larger system that polices women's bodies and behaviour while excusing or minimizing male violence.

If they don't want you telling folks about them defending your rapist and about them harassing you and threatening you and *this* bs, they could literally just fcking stop?

Theres nothing wrong with using your page to speak on your trauma and as a safe space for other women survivors

All responsible and even mothers. My rapists mother enabled him and still does. The survivors I worked with? 9/10 times an enabling mother. There is a correlation. Boy mom’s are dangerous pick me’s.

And so are their mothers If the enable them, and any person who enables them. If you don’t hold them accountable, drag them to the police station, you’re allowing it to happen to someone else. Period.

Mothers are highly responsible for raising rapists.

If you know someone who is a rapist, and you as a family member or friend finance their defense, support them, testify on behalf of them, you are JUST AS RESPONSIBLE as the rapist themselves. You’re saying their behavior is acceptable and you are enabling it.

There’s no excuse. None.

Apparently they’ve told other people (it’s been multiple women doing this) that they are upset I brought the family into this. The family is protecting my rapist? - and therefore they are protecting women who protect rapists & then protecting the rapist himself. Makes no sense.
