Yep. My sister and I were just discussing that. For most of our lives there is zero way we could have paid a bill like that. And we know that’s the norm. People aren’t just sitting on piles of money. Healthcare should be a guarantee.

My sister, who has health insurance through work, had to pay $2,000 to register for her medically necessary c-section. That’s with insurance. They sent her a letter stating it was due the day she came in for the surgery or she couldn’t have it. Can you imagine? Every American deserves better.
