Heads up Metroid fans! Walmart has these Metroid Jakks figures in stock. They are reruns of older stuff but in updated boxes. The UV Glow Metroid is amazing.
Glow Metroid toy from Jakks Pacific. Part of the 6 inch line. Glow Metroid Toy by Jakks Pacific with UV lights built into the box making it glow. Part of the 6 inch line. Samus Bounty Hunter Set from Jakks Pacific featuring two Metroid figures and Samus in her Varia Suit. Part of the 2.5 inch line. Samus three figure pack from Jakks Pacific featuring Samus in three different Metroid Prime Suits. Has her Varia, Gravity, and Phazon suits. Part of the 2.5 inch line.
This event sucks. Convoluted and inconvenient way to earn NSO Icons. All will be amongst the rarest icons, especially the Playoff one that I think less than 50 people will get. Horrible for icon collectors and I hope to see less of this horrible nonsense.

Real ones look at the guest list and do a spit take. If you're at @retrogamingexpo.bsky.social this weekend, you've GOT to come to this panel.
Near Portland? Come celebrate the 40th anniversary of the NES with a once-in-a-lifetime panel with the people who made it happen! We're hosting a panel on the actual 40th anniversary date with ex-Nintendo staff. Memories, photos, surprises and more! www.patreon.com/posts/nes-40...
Nintendo themselves like to spread the narrative that is was. Here's a rare shirt from Nintendo NY, limited to 85 pieces, that has the date in multiple places.
This sounds pretty amazing. Wish I could go.

As a kid I went to some Nickelodeon live show thing hosted by Mike O'Malley and Phil Moore. Had decent seats and Mike was going nuts. Gave me a high five and I lost my mind. '90s Nick was insane.
Love Guts. Many of the games are like, take an idea and attach elastic cords to kids. Also watch a great number of kids fail in swimming pool games. Mike O'Malley is unhinged as well.
You can read my thoughts on why I feel the First Generation of Pokémon is the greatest.

I've seen so many theories about the Bananza timeline placement that are just factually incorrect or impossible. I've been doing research on that and the DK family tree and hope to share my findings in the near future. Just need to draw the line somewhere as once you start digging you can go forever
Got my multiplier so high in Bananza: Emerald Rush that the kills started to make the arcade Donkey Kong successful barrel jump noise. Cool hidden Easter egg!

Digging through some old boxes and came across an old Pikmin 2 counter standee that just happens to be signed by Shigeru Miyamoto, Takashi Tezuka, Shigefumi Hino, and Masamichi Abe.

Cripes. I should probably do something with this.
A Pikmin 2 counter standee signed by Shigeru Miyamoto, Takashi Tezuka, Shigefumi Hino, and Masamichi Abe.
Still got mine somewhere! Was great to get some coffee I could save for later.
At first they told me I would get a full refund and not have to send it back. I never got the refund so I called back. Now I have to send it back. Lol. Power the Players! How many people don't realize they got scammed?
Bought a "New" Switch game from GameStop online. It came and there was no shrinkwrap, had a New Sticker slapped on the case, and had one of those clear circular stickers holding the package shut. So GameStop sold be a used game as new. They still suck. Be careful!
Yes. The stages are still the same but the perks and free skills you get have a random element so there is some strategy in crafting a good synergistic build each run.
It was just a thought. Thanks for checking.
Does changing the mouse sensitivity in the Switch 2 hardware settings to other options impact it within NSO in any way?
Seriously, Emerald Rush is great and I wish more people were talking about it. Crazy combos can happen that lead to insane outcomes. Fun as hell.
This led to a truly dominant performance.
Crazy Bananza Emerald Rush run last night. Maxed out my Banandium Chips and cashed them out in the final round with Smelting Green for a profit of nearly 3 million in Emeralds.
Donkey Kong Bananza Emerald Rush screen of the maximum number of Banandium Chips (9,999) being cashed out for 2,999,700 worth of Emeralds.
Glad it was not just me.
okay so... I'm sorry to NERD here but I think the SNES Mouse emulation is bad
When all mouse stuff just works fine on the HOME Menu and then it jitters too much on Mario & Wario, it's harder to move even on High speed... honestly it bothers the heck out of me
To think a Nintendo Power contest led to this.
