This remains my favorite Twitter exchange ever:
I did a lot of digital painting parodies when I wrote Leonardo da Bunny. This parody of Wyeth's Cristina's World is for the second book, and it's my favorite so far. Thought it might make you smile.
I hear that. It's crazy how peaceful this house is now, and how happy Brian and I are. We did what we needed to do, but we also put our lives on hold for a long time.
Been doing holiday decorating, and everything is odd. First holiday season without my mom. My husband and I moved in years ago. I'd been Mom's caretaker for years. I miss her, but she was an abusive person. Life is so much more peaceful now. Sometimes I don't know how to feel. Sad/happy/guilty

Compared to the list of Traitor Tot's pardons, hunter Biden is an absolute angel.

I was a theatrical costumer for 30 years, so fabric jokes make me giggle. What this church has against shiny fabric I don't know. 😆
I haven't written any holiday themed books, but if you are looking for an exciting romp to gift the bibliophile in your life, Teatime of the Living Dead is one of my favorites. Theatre, magic, and zombies. What more can you ask for?

We had our family Thanksgiving on Saturday. First one without Mom, which was tough. She was an angry and difficult woman much of the time, but I still miss her. 2024 has been pretty sucky, but I fear 2025 will be worse.

I wrote some words! Not a lot of words, mind you, but the first words I've written on my WIP in a long time.
Now if we could just get them to put back the "most recent" button. Nothing like your Facebook feed being full of posts from a week ago.
Bluesky has 'em shook

We got snow. Not much, but even I can't pretend it's fall anymore. Winter. Meh.
My parents never told me what to read. My grade school librarian was awesome and never suggested a book I wanted was too old for me, and made other suggestions based on my reading level, not my age. In reading, I was free, and I read everything. made me who I am as much as anything.

This…this is it. In a nutshell, yes.
I'm an almost 60 year old woman, a writer, artist, ally, animal lover, and I love to take pictures. Purely an amateur, mind you, but I love it. Pictures are memories. So I think I'll make Thursdays picture day and share some of my favs. #pictureday #picoftheday #Indy
