For total population, visual disturbances and blindness have doubled since the onset of the pandemic. There has been no letup in recent years. Average growth rate is power(1.97, 1/5) = 14.5 percent per year (= 10x every ln(10)/ln(1.145)= 17 years).

Autism and other persistent developmental disorders (F84) are more prevalent among 15-24 year olds than in any other age group. Current estimated growth rate is 34% y/y, or power(1.384,10)=19 times in 10 years (19x19=384 times in 20 years, etc.), if current growth rates continue.

In Finland, autism and related pervasive developmental disorders (F84) are up 4.3 times from 2020. Current growth rate is 29.4% per year, or 13x in 10 years if current growth continues (13x13=169x in 20 years, etc.). There was little growth before the pandemic.

I looked into those cancers that had no records during 2019, 2019 and 2020 among 25-49 year olds. From 2021 to 2025e, the number of diagnoses has grown strongly. In total population, the number of patients has more than doubled from 2019.

Here is the calculation. I estimate that in Finland, incidence (diagnoses) of C74 during 2024 and 2025 in the pediatric population (0-14) is between 200 and 220 times higher than the average incidence (patients) in the United States.

A brief comment on this article on Malignant neoplasm of the adrenal gland (C74), which puts the incidence of C74 at 0.2-0.3 per million among U.S. pediatric population. I use the 0-14 age group as a proxy (as 0-17 is not available).

A note on malignant neoplasm of the adrenal gland (C74): in a single step, the incidence among infants rose to the top. <1 year olds are now diagnosed with this cancer 0.02712/0.0004253 = 64 times more frequently than the general population.
