I get my flu vaccine free but not covid. The lowest price I’ve found for for that in my area is £98. I think I might just cross my fingers and hope if I’m unfortunate enough to get it that it’s only mild 🤞🏻

Lazy Sunday

Sunday morning was wonderfully misty. The trees are gently turning to their autumn hues and this sheep was quite happy to rest beneath them.

One from sunnier climes for a dank November day.

The sun is just rising and the sky around it is coloured yellow and orange. The composition is such that the sun is directly behind the lifeguards station so this has become a silhouette. The sky holds interesting clouds that enhance the sunrise. The horizon runs through the centre of the image to create symmetry with the sky reflecting in the perfectly still lagoon.

Graceful Decay

As well as landscape photography I also enjoy doing a little macro. Tulips are amongst my favourite flowers, I love the way the maintain their beauty even in death, in fact I think they become even more beautiful.

A snowy sunrise for a wet Sunday morning.

A millpond is in the foreground, the air is still making for perfect reflections of the trees beyond the pond. It’s winter and there is snow on the ground, the trees are devoid of leaves. Slightly left of centre behind the trees is a mill house. The sky holds the colours red and orange as the weak winter sun begins to rise.

Beautiful light at Canterbury Cathedral.

Standing in the cloisters looking out to the enclosed green lawn. There are manny columns and the sunlight is behind them is throwing their shadows towards me. The cloisters are paved with wonderful old flagstone.
