Yes! I don't know what powers are at play but I remember reading somewhere that a contributing issue is how inaccessible acting is becoming for those that work for a living. And that to have an acting career as a sole profession is only for the rich. So we lose the on-screen working class presence.

Yeah, that sounds rough in an online space. I have enough of a problem in being talked over in a live group setting as it is. And these days it gets harder to stand out online.

There is a huge benefit to being in-person and putting faces to names you usually only see online. Even if it's brief, there is still a subtle connection there that helps establish familiarity and some trust for the day when something bigger can grow from that.

Thanks! I've done stage, voice, and now figured I'd add another skill. Memorizing lines again has been the hardest as I haven't done it in a long time.

Just finished my first unit of on-camera acting and while it was nerve-wracking at times I had a blast and felt like I learned more about myself.
