Every year on the other site I would make a pinned post asking people to send me their Star Fox-like indie projects. Over the years I've played and gotten involved with some fantastic games and back quite a few kickstarters. Happy to give feedback, edit trailers, or just say good job! Send me stuff!

You've never flown from USA to Australia and realized everything was upside down before? It's just science Chris.
The distinct advantage Quantic Dream has in this endeavor compared to other predominantly singleplayer studios is that Quantic Dream wasn't making good singleplayer games in the first place. So it can't really be worse than what they were already producing.
Quantic Dream announces they are developing a competitive multiplayer game

Star Wars: Eclipse development still continues

blog.quanticdream.com/writing-a-ne...
For over 28 years, Quantic Dream has been pushing the boundaries of interactive storytelling. With award-winning titles like Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls, and Detroit: Become Human, more than 25 million players worldwide have shared the journeys of Ethan Mars, Jodie Holmes, Kara, Markus and Connor, with us.

Since 2018, we have entered a new phase of growth and innovation. We doubled the size of the team, bringing together talents from all over the world united by the same passion for creativity. We opened a new studio in Montreal, moved into new headquarters in Paris, built the next generation of our proprietary technology, and became our own publisher.

After years as a single-project studio, we also decided to take a new step. Multiple teams are fully dedicated to crafting the next generation of great games, including something very different, a competitive multiplayer experience, born from the same spirit of curiosity and creativity that has always defined us.

This new title may surprise our fans as it is very different from what we have done so far. But taking risks, challenging ourselves, exploring new ways of playing and telling stories, and attempting what seems impossible, has always been part of our DNA.

We also know how demanding it is to create something new. Earning the trust of players, standing out in such a competitive space, and introducing fresh concepts is incredibly challenging. And since we have no legacy in this genre, we know we have everything to prove — which is why your support and feedback will be essential. Together, we believe we can create something truly unique.

Of course, development of Star Wars: Eclipse continues, and we are eager to share more with you in the future.

I want to take this opportunity to thank all our fans around the world for playing our games year after year, for their kind words whenever we meet, for their patience and encouragement.
Oh you don't really need to dig :) The plot of Federation Force is very overtly just what happens between Metroid Prime 3 and 4. I'm interested to see if they'll do a flashback or anything to explain it in Prime 4.
Federation Force secretly coded to randomly drop new lore in the lead up to Prime 4
A Reddit user reported seeing General Alex Miles' face during the credits of #Metroid Prime: Federation Force! See our new post for more.

I have a very particular set up hyperfixations
Playing Link's Awakening on Switch 2.

The absolute audacity of whoever grabbed the environment render to be used as this dude's reflection. Obviously the models of the rooms don't have ceilings so do they throw one in for the reflection texture? Nope, just straight up show the default grey void.

Tony Gilroy, showrunner of Andor, has a message.
A little concerned that Nintendo seemingly didn't allow anyone to review Pokemon Legends Z-A on the original Switch (theoretically the lead platform). Especially given the performance history of the series on that system.

Can you convince it to download the Switch 1 version?

I got to do a preview of Bubsy 4D for @nintendonwr.bsky.social. I do not think this game is going to appeal to everyone, but it sure as hell looks like it appeals to me, and that's the stupidest timeline.

Bubsy 4D
As a kid who bounced between PC and SNES a lot. That SNES Mouse always felt like that. I remember flinging that thing across the mouse pad to get it to go anywhere. I'd argue they're doing a great job of emulating it :P
How good do you need the condition to be? We've got one of the 1985 ones in our bucket at work but she's a little beat up.

(Got excited when I pulled out four but the rest were the wrong date)
Follow me for me completely accurate and never ever wrong Nintendo takes

What if Hades was Golden Axe? That's an important question to ask. Absolum gives us an answer with it's unique brawler meets roguelite format. @jrudek.bsky.social has our review youtu.be/GYOODLmlfZQ

The impression I get is that this came in very hot. I don't think they're committing to a 60fps mode but they didn't have much time to optimize for S2 so they played it safe and intend to revisit it to see what's possible later on. They have a good track record for Nintendo ports so I'm optimistic.
Quick, before Nintendo uploads their Pikmin short to Youtube and the entire internet starts talking about it, watch my Yooka-Replaylee review youtu.be/dZkeCOS1i7c?...

The world was not destroyed, humanity merely disappeared, as if consumed in an instant by creatures beyond their understanding, creatures they couldn't even see coming.

Makes me wonder if this was an intentional reference in Rebel Galaxy Outlaw
Yes very funny to think indeed

*We all nod in agreement having definitely never realized that before
Pikmin is a post apocalyptic game. This is established canon. Whatever "Close to You" is a teaser for is clearly the Halo Reach or Rogue One of Pikmin.
Real talk, I assume this exists as a thing that can be shown to shareholders/investors to show how capable Nintendo is as a growing multimedia company of producing this type of work internally rather than continuously licensing it out to Illumination etc.
