... okay, I have questions about this case. Why didn't the victim try to escape? Did none of the other employees or customers notice her living on the premises? How did just two people manage to monitor one person at all times? And of course just WTF in general.

Sure, but it's not strictly the names that make it feel like the simulation's glitching. It's the fact they both happen to be doing a similar thing at the same time.
