I got influenced by @jonkung.bsky.social to try this Chinese condiment, and I'm so glad. It's not the same brand he talked about in his video, but it's delicious nonetheless. Intensely umami, salty, and complex. And no, it doesn't taste like olives. At all. It's closer to dried shrimp, actually.
It’s probably something terrible like and is dedicated to grilling in some way so no the market is woefully sparse on cookbooks for dads.
