California just banned employers from forcing workers to pay a debt, fee, or penalty to leave their job.

Bosses have increasingly been trapping workers with debts incurred in training and other exploitative fees.

Now that's illegal in the nation's biggest state.

Hi there 👋

I’m an Edinburgh-based illustrator. I love nautical themes, birds and bookish things. I work in Procreate but love a textured analogue feel.

Elections aren’t every 4 years or every 2 years, they’re every year. In California we have a special election for prop 50 and it’s a YES. If Texas can gerrymander then we should be able to. I know my comments will be filled with bots, but I won’t be intimidated. Our democracy is vanishing❤️

You mean the corporate media. I just can't be bothered with them anymore. With the exception of The Economist- always reliable.
