I was about to moan that it's a pain in the ass when trying to do anything outdoors after work when the clocks go back, but then I read the article. Ideally for our family they'd be left forward, but if scrapping it entirely meant we don't get that extra hour in summer then leave well alone, please!

You missed the word 'many', which is key here. Honda is giving choice. It's not stopping people from enjoying manual transmissions, it's just opening up accessibility to those who want it. If nobody buys it Honda won't make it. Choice will keep motorcycling alive. Negativity from within will kill it

The Yamaha R9 is so much more popular than Yamaha expected that they have had to stop taking orders for the bike as they can't make enough of them.

Perhaps there is a market for sports bikes, but this is the sweet spot. 200+hp 1000cc bikes are now too specialised to be popular

Ironic given the comment I replied to is that part of the decision is in giving publishers the ability to opt out of AI results that reduce the traffic they get.
As fun as it can seem to try to reduce the need for people to click through to an article, without it decent content will soon disappear
