Originalism is for me symbolized by sixty page articles about such and such constituitonal provision that is not comprehensive (books are written on some of these subjects) which originalists and others disagree upon regarding many details.
I'm not an originalist & I think references to late 18th Century respect of strong deference is of limited value. A lot changed since then, including how the people and their institutions understand judicial review. But originalists appeal to that era.
"The deferential originalism championed by Meese, Bork, and Berger, that “arose as a response to the perceived abuses of the Warren and Burger Courts,” had been made “largely irrelevant” by the Rehnquist Court."

When conservatives obtained power, deference went to the wayside. #SCOTUS

As a baby lawyer in the Reagan White House, John Roberts was writing memos arguing that violations of the Voting Rights Act should not be "too easy to prove." This is not just any legal issue that happens to come before him. This is his life's work. He just wants to finish what he started.
Inside John Roberts’ Decades-Long Crusade Against the Voting Rights Act
Roberts remains at the center of an impassioned debate about voting rights in America.

Fetterman is a Manchin sort but King and Cortez-Masto doing this is annoying.
The #Senate did not invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to HR 5371 (House passed CR), 51-45.
D/I in favor: Cortez-Masto, Fetterman, King.
R against: Paul & Thune- only in order to offer a motion to reconsider.
Not voting: Cassidy, Duckworth, Tillis & Tuberville.
"Amy Coney Barrett Is Looking Beyond the Trump Era"

We have to figure out how to survive over three more years of this.

It is asinine to "look beyond" it. The fact some "reasonable originalist" (not author of this op-ed) praises her underlines why he is part of the problem. #SCOTUS
Theyrrrreee Back .... #SCOTUS and (less stressfully) Respect Religion. They support separation of church and states. Yeah, that's possible while being pro-religion.

In similar cases, teams twice used position players
You are down by 8, it's silly to waste an actual pitcher in this spot. #MLB
I saw a reference to George Washington's famous Christmas Eve attack/crossing of the Delaware. At a low point, a small army, chased out of Manhattan, fleeing to Westchester County, found a way to obtain a victory. It's a good reminder of strategy for Democrats these days.
Seattle is liable to use a position player at this rate, given how much they used their pen. #MLB
5-2 Blue Jays. Knew the Blue Jays offense would truly show itself at some point. #MLB
The last part hits. Yes, Cuomo lost already.

He also quit a few years ago. We are going to rely on a guy so bad that he had to resign?
Andrew, we're voting you off the island and back to the suburbs.

Our new ad just aired during Survivor.
Mariners' offense is at it again. Up 2-0 so far in the first. #MLB
Sotomayor for the liberals, with a rare dissent in a final capital punishment appeal. #SCOTUS

The frogs shall come up on you and on your people and on all your officials."
