He kind of speaks to that very kind of reductive leftism where the answer to any and all problems is “rich people exist and we don’t tax them enough”, which may or may not be true, but is not really a serious proposition if it’s your answer to *everything*

This is actually a really good point and speaks to one of the wider issues I have with the Greens (I.e. their left/socialist credentials are a mile wide and an inch thin.)
