Coteacher is chill. She basically said that the whole thing was in Korean anyway so it wouldn't matter for me to be there.
But also, it still sucks that I've gotta do this again in another week or so and they're gonna probably force me to use the AI tech that'll be unsupported by next year anyway.

BTW, the program was running long and it was about time for me to leave. And I was about to leave, but made sure to check with my coteacher first. And she was like "Oh, but it's still going."
And I got to hit her with the "Did they formally submit for me to work overtime for this?"

Don't get me wrong: It's an important point to make from a narrative perspective. There's a theme about maturity here (that's a bit clunky, but this is 2k). But you need to make it so that the player either sees the foreshadowing or they are lulled into making a choice to get consequences.

They took away player choice.
"You can't play in this game we were telling you was important because you were late."
I didn't do anything. I didn't make any choice within the game to say "Yeah, I'll take the chance." You create a lot of ludonarrative dissonance there. I'd have shown up on time.

They're not gonna kill a character, right? 2k would be too scared to do that, right? All of these flags they're planting about this one character won't really pay off... right?

Idk why, but "Running Backs Day" feels like appropriating the culture of a minority group within the NFL. Like, QBs, RBs, and WRs are generally seen as the important players and TEs are often forgotten when it comes to that glory. That's why TE Day was created. This feels like appropriation.
