And I also understand Allison's post too. I recently reviewed a recent grad's portfolio, and they were no way ready to work professionally. But yeah...every one is on their own pace.
I've met alot of co-workers who got into animation in their 30s-40s so there's really no rush...

Me. I didn't know what I wanted to do after HS, meandered until my one of my best friends recommended the animation program in SJSU, where I ended up following the VisDev path, only to end up going wanting to go into boards after my production internship.

I used to teach at an art college. It depends on the student. Some know exactly what path they want & had great guidance on how to get there. Other students (this was me as well btw) don’t know what direction they want to go and pick a bunch of different focuses.

Wahoo! Been having alot of fun talking theories and shit with Bren now that I've beaten this batch of new chapters.
The soundtrack to Ch 4 has risen up to be my favorite due to a certain track, and how it was introduced in-game.

The story may not be finished yet but after paid release for the first 4 chapters, I felt this was a review worth writing for @ign.com. Deltarune's current offering is already an incredible adventure, with characters that I expect I'll be thinking about for a long time:
