Yeah, football in general succeeds at holding an audience cause at minimum you're only committing to 3 hours a week for a few months.

When you have inventory available like the NFL does, the more stand alone games you create, the idea will slowly hold less value. Playing Sunday night or Monday night used to be a big deal. Your team maybe did it once a year. Everyone's got multiple national games now.

There was a scarcity to the amount of game that was available, making it appointment viewing.

They're trying to take down anti-trust laws in the States too. If they end up being a league with games on all time, I don't know if that's actually a good thing for them.

Started to notice this yesterday, assume others have pointed it out but I've missed it: All these international games and MNF doubleheaders have really diluted Sunday afternoons. Pretty rare for there to be more than two cool NFL games at a time
