Definitely agree it will take time (Hanks probably won’t even be back until mid-season), but once they are all back and up to speed it will be a logjam.

That makes the problem even worse. 5 players for 2 positions is not great. I really don’t want to see any of those that I listed leave the team, but some of them will have to be traded.

Also, I forgot about Mueller. Outside back will also be a logjam.

I have been thinking a lot about how the Timbers used to be good and what has changed. Is Ned really worse than Gavin? Same owner. My conclusion: the rest of the league has grown up, Timbers still think they can get by with what worked ten years ago - and a lot of that was luck.
