If I can be honest, Itagaki's brashness is one of his best traits.

He was never filtered about his thoughts on the industry, other games, or those who created them both positive and negative.

I wish more in his field were capable of his levels of honesty, it's admirable

Deeply saddened by this. He gave birth to my favorite fighting game series, and gave my favorite game character Ryu Hayabusa a rebirth. every interview with him was a treat, a real wild card, whose centuries made him a unique voice. Much love to his family and friends.
