To criticize your side, especially to learn from mistakes, is not only rational but necessary if you want to defeat fascism. Thinking that blaming Garland for his mistakes negates blame for others, especially the R’s who did J6, is irrational. Hope that helps.

And where is the evidence for the delay by J6C? I’m told to read the report and no one can direct me to where it details these alleged delays. It’s a 174 page report you don’t just get to say go read it. I read the section I would think it would be in and nothing about J6C delays.

See here’s the crux of my and many others complaints with Garland. I would expect the DOJ and FBI to had already interviewed all these witnesses before the J6C. To those of us not steeped in the lore of “no Garland was great” it looks like they did almost nothing before J6C.

I blocked Garland defender deadenders just like i blocked Biden deadenders after the debates so yes I’m completely ignorant of this apparently vast lore of excuses about how no really Garland did everything he could. Don’t know why I engaged in such nonsense instead of blocking right away.

The delay in opening an investigation into Trump is not giving up on reality. It’s important to place blame on Garland where due, not minimizing the roll of SCOTUS or others who deserve blame also, but to learn and not make the same mistake next time if we get a next time in 2029.

Someday there will be a reckoning for the serial killings that the US government is engaged in on the oceans. Another admin should not refuse to extradite indicted officials to Intl Criminal Courts and senior military officers “just following orders” should not be exempted.
