Like I would love to see Take in the C2 and feuding with Okada but that takes us right up to Worlds End (I’m assuming ) which is the 27th December - that misses all of the road to WK shows which would be rubbish.

How are we building to a main event in that case because it needs to be built in Japan

Being a big Takeshita fan and a big NJPW fan today is weird.

Because on one hand I am so happy for Take and love seeing him succeed (and also all the love from the DDT guys)

And on the other I am concerned for the viability of having the main champion not around until the Dome

I will say the fact that Take is in a tag match on Saturday and not staying in Japan to do promotion does make me feel a certain way

But when you look at the guys who were in undercard matches and in the semi main, I don’t see how this was the path NJ decided to take and why they took the route they did to get there.

I think that is the wrong choice but I get it.

I hope that Take is able to be around to build for the Dome and I hope that the company gets what they are expecting from this.

Okay people on the internet seem to think they joined together - I don’t want that & I don’t think that’s what happened.

“Not LIJ” stayed behind, took photos together and all had Unaffiliated merch on. I’m pretty sure it was a truce to the seemingly never ending wars both have been in this year
