I didn't even engage. Instant block. I actually spent an hour this morning making sure my numbers were reasonably accurate and also gave spx the benefit of the least horrible values. But I did mention the most horrible ones.

There's one person who pays them $250 a month who cost Augment $15,000. Amazing stuff. Can only imagine how bad things are for Cursor or Replit
www.augmentcode.com/blog/augment...
The user message model also isn’t sustainable for Augment Code as a business. For example, over the last 30 days, a user on our $250 Max plan has issued 335 requests per hour, every hour, for 30 days, and is approaching $15,000 per month in cost to Augment Code. This sort of use isn’t inherently bad, but as a business, we have to price our service in accordance with our costs.

When I typed out fan boy, it initially said fan bot and I probably should have went with that.

Oooh. Just got to block my first Bluesky SpaceX fan boy. Claimed my CO2 stats were "incredibly inaccurate"

I used publicly available data.

But I didn't check
r/spacexmakesmespurt so maybe he's correct?

Thanks. We're doing ok. And our kids are close.

"Happy" to hear it. The damage been done is almost inconceivable.

Today is 3 weeks since Sam got attacked by an offleash German shepherd.

He's doing very well but not up to bike rides yet. But here he is when he does. He loves it.

Based on its construction, it's an entirely plausible scenario that someone sits on their phone and this happens.

(Zach should not have been breathing that stuff though... Very not good)

I tested again today and not covid... But it sure feels like what I had last time (just not as bad) and it's been a full week. Flu makes sense.

I have a bunch of tests I just bought to go through but I'll look at these next time

We like lots of color and this used to be just plain white so this is a nice change.

I going it is. We added a lot of things we'd wished it had over the years we've used it.

Thanks. It's been quite a ride.

Back home, still feeling like crap. That said, pretty pleased with all I got accomplished. Not as much as i wanted to but close.
View of the trailer renos looking tired the front bed showing the birch cabinets, green walls & mahogany butcher block kitchen countertop. View of the back half of the RV renos showing the closet cupboard, induction cooktop & fake fireplace

Ya. Although I could see it for those specially trained with full knowledge of the danger. Ie: astronauts. Space shuttle first flew with 1 in 12 (ended at 1 in 90)

Commercial passenger margins are many , many factors more conservative
jayispainting.earthskyart.ca
To sum up.

SpaceX will almost certainly provide this service for the military at some point but commercial, point to point rocket passenger travel is as likely as hyperloop (far less likely i'd say)

It's hype & absolute nonsense as well as being and environmental disaster.
jayispainting.earthskyart.ca
To say nothing of the G loading on passengers. 4.5G sustained for launch & 2.5G for the belly flop landing.

Grandma Tilly isn't flying on this.

FWIW, Max Gs on a 787 is 1.3.

Alan Shepard: "It's a very sobering feeling to be up in space and realize that one's safety factor was determined by the lowest bidder on a government contract."

Now apply that to Elon, known cost cutter & engineering advice ignorer.
