I’m running to be the next Governor of Georgia.

As a former teacher, small business owner, dad, and state senator, I’ve seen Georgia’s potential because I’ve lived it. Georgia families are just looking for a fair shot.

I’m Jason Esteves, and I know that together we can build a better Georgia.
Big dawg energy in Athens last night! Thank you to the UGA Dems for showing up, speaking out, and believing in a better Georgia. Let’s keep that momentum going! Together, we’re building something powerful.
Had an absolute blast in Athens!I loved meeting so many passionate folks and sharing ways we can move Georgia forward together. Big thanks to everyone who showed up, you made it an evening to remember!
I’m proud to have introduced legislation to help seniors save on property taxes, which is on the ballot this November. Across the state, skyrocketing costs have forced Georgians to make impossible decisions. It's time we lower costs and deliver relief.

Beyond honored to be endorsed by Jason Carter. From lowering healthcare and housing costs to investing in schools and small businesses, I’m ready to hit the ground running. Georgia deserves leadership that puts people first, and that’s exactly what I’ll do as governor.
Our state’s strength comes from the people who keep it running — the workers who teach our kids, build our roads, and care for our families. I’ll be a governor who fights for them every single day.
Got plans Wednesday, Athens? Now you do! Looking forward to talking to some Dawgs about the priorities that matter most to you and your families. RSVP to save your spot!

Indigenous history is American history, and today we take time to honor, celebrate, and uplift the voices that have led for generations. Happy Indigenous Peoples’ Day!
Celebrating love, joy, and equality at the Atlanta Pride Parade.!🏳️‍🌈

I’m proud to stand with Georgia’s LGBTQ+ community and will always fight for equality, dignity, and freedom for everyone who calls Georgia home!
Had an amazing time at the Douglas County Democrats Decades of Democracy Dinner surrounded by leaders and changemakers fighting for Georgia’s future. Everywhere I go, I find that what unites us is community, connection, and purpose. And of course, I couldn’t do it without my better half, Ariel.
CDC workers deserve better. As governor, I’ll stand up to the chaos in D.C. and take real action to fight against Trump’s cruel attacks.
Georgia’s doctor-to-patient ratio is 23% worse than the national average, and we’re falling further behind. As governor, I’ll expand training, open new residencies, and invest in rural care so every Georgian can get the care they need.

Georgia has made important progress, but more reforms are needed to ensure residents in rural and underserved communities receive the care they deserve.

I read a recent column saying Democrats should “ditch identity politics.”
Let’s be clear — listening to people’s lived experiences isn’t identity politics. It’s good politics.
That’s why as governor, I'll make the investments needed to ensure every child gets the strong start they deserve.
Progress starts with our children. I had a blast visiting the Kids ‘R’ Kids Learning Academy for Georgia Pre-K Week.
As a former educator and dad to two little ones of my own, I know how critical early childhood education is to our kids' success.
I’m honored to have Shanette’s trust. As governor, I’ll fight to overturn Georgia’s abortion ban and protect every woman’s right to safe, accessible care.
I’m honored to receive Shanette’s faith and support, and I promise this: I will never waver in my commitment to protecting reproductive care and abortion access. As governor, I’ll fight to overturn the abortion ban and make sure no woman in Georgia ever has to suffer the same fate as Amber.
The fight for reproductive rights continues in Georgia. Amber’s mother, Shanette Williams, carries the torch for her, and on behalf of the other women who’ve lost their lives to this cruel, restrictive abortion ban.
Amber Nicole Thurman was a devoted mother, a medical assistant who dreamed of becoming a nurse, and the light of her mother's life. Her death was entirely preventable, and she would be here with us today if not for doctors delaying her care and Georgia’s abortion ban.
Georgia deserves a governor who’ll stand up to Trump’s chaos, and that’s exactly what I’ll do.
Furloughed federal workers are already struggling without a paycheck because Trump and Republicans shut down the government — and now Trump’s refusing to guarantee backpay. It’s a cruel slap in the face to hardworking public servants.

Small businesses power Georgia, but too many can’t get off the ground because they can’t access capital.

I’ll change that. As governor, I’ll invest in local entrepreneurs with low-interest loans that create jobs, grow communities, and keep Georgia’s economy strong.
Trump and Republicans shut down the government because they refuse to protect Georgians’ healthcare. I spoke with furloughed and RIF’ed CDC workers from AFGE local 2883 to hear how the shutdown is threatening their livelihoods and our public health.

Some feel like pawns, some need the rest, all just want public health work to get done.
