A reminder, this was 6 journalists murdered, 50 years ago.

The IDF has murdered over 270 journalists in the Gaza war over just 2 years.

The vast majority (265+) of those were Palestinian.

The man adjudged to have ordered the murders - special forces captain Yunus Yosfiah - went on to have a successful military career and eventually, to become an Indonesian government minister.

He retired from the military as a decorated general.

Roger East, 53, (Australia) - reporter (AAP-Reuters) travelled to East Timor to investigate the murders, was captured by the Indonesian military and executed on 8th December, 1975.

His body was dumped into the ocean.

There has never been an inquest into his death.

Today is the 50th anniversary of the murders of the #Balibo5.

The Indonesian government has never acknowledged this (much less apologised for it)

The Australian government has agreed with Indonesia's version of events (and also never apologised for this either).

Why would I like appliances (like air conditioners) to have Wifi and to be connected to a home network?

At the moment for a specific reason - so I don't have to go outside to each unit individually to look up the model numbers and other information.

It'd be nice to just SNMP query this info..
