Peppersauce Canyon Loop plus a few off trail adventures. This is on the backside of Mount Lemmon off the old Mount Lemmon Road.

A perfect day with Odin the Boxer. 45° at start and 66° at the finish. A four hour hike and the dog is tired. 🥰🤗

I get passed by people 15 and 20 years older than me all the time. I’m in awe of a lot of these older folks in their stamina and ability to do these really difficult hikes.

Now that it’s cooler, we’ll get out there more often. That’s the key.

Sombrero Peak (Safford Peak)

Photo dump from Sombrero Peak. This is a difficult and strenuous hike gaining 1500 feet of elevation in 1.75 miles.

This was an excellent test of my fitness and the test results say that I have more work to do.

I agree. I think it’s better to be realistic. Even if 50 million people show up this weekend there’s no opposition party, self preservation is key.

Sabino Canyon, Arizona. 9.4 miles mostly under the shade of the ridge. 64° at the start in 88° at the finish.

Lots of wildflowers very few people once you get past a mile into the trail. 10/10 will be back 💯
