Ymmv of course, but while I think there were obvious issues with Levy's stewardship of the club, his actions weren't random chance
Sure, but what we think they should do, even if we're correct, has no effect on what they will do.
My dumbass opinion is that there is no point to replacing Frank even if you think, reasonably, that he will never be a successful manager of Spurs, because Spurs have no serious idea of what they want to be, so therefore there is no real chance of them hiring the right manager, whoever they may be
Also, you don't have to understand Dadaism and what they were doing in response to WWI and the European art community of the time, but you also don't have to write about it in the newspaper if you don't
I always knew that as a person without conservative politics I was responsible for what every other non-conservative person says, but I didn't realize that included being responsible for what dead French people did over 100 years ago
David Brooks has written many, many uninformed things about art, but equating Marcel Duchamp's 1917 "Fountain"—an ordinary urinal presented as a work of art—with Republicans praising Hitler in a group chat definitively qualifies him for a gold medal in stupidity www.nytimes.com/2025/10/30/o...

Oh I'd also like to see Gray starting more
I'd like to see more of Sarr and Bergvall and Tel in the starting lineup. And Simons through the middle or not at all.
I think that booing sucks, and I think that if you're selling just the ability to purchase tickets for a minimum of £45 each, you're taking a big risk if you fail to entertain patrons, and those are the breaks.
They know when choosing to have Johnson on that he intends to use their platform to lie. And they know that allowing him to lie on their platform spreads disinformation among the public. They make an active choice to have that happen.
Mike Johnson dismisses concerns about Trump's lawless deadly strikes on boats: "My Democrat colleagues would come out of any hearing with the administration and say it was inadequate. I mean, it's politics."
I worry more about Kendall and Shiv Roy being in charge than anything else, honestly.
They seemed to be pressing high yesterday. But I think it's a confluence of factors: Richy and Brennan are better pressers, but they haven't played as much; the UCL and lack of rotation means players are tired; the midfield pivot is too deep and that makes a high press difficult to pull off
I'd say that Nuno wants to defend deep, then attack directly at speed before the opponent can get back into a defensive shape. Glasner wants to play a mid block and attack directly without the same emphasis on getting the opponent out of their defensive shape
There's a Mookie Guerrero Jr who's pretty decent
It's interesting that a lot of people outside of NYC seem to think that Mamdani will let crime get out of control, while a lot of people I talk to inside NYC worry that the NYPD will refuse to work with Mamdani and will instead work to sabotage his administration from the start
I have a friend outside of NYC who is generally progressive but fears and despises Zohran. She has her reasons, mainly fear that he is going to let crime get out of control. She also thinks that he will be the face of the Democrats in 2026 and 2028 and that will harm us electorally.
I also think that more than anything else, what is wrong with Spurs this season is that Son is gone, and he was and is a lot greater and more important than even a lot of Spurs fans gave him credit for
It's Chelsea at home; a cursed fixture. I don't think that I learned anything watching that match that I didn't already know.

It would be nice though if Solanke could get healthy, especially because I'd like to see what Kolo Muani could do on the left.
Well, not playing two of those four in favor of worse players is perhaps a part of the issue
I'm somewhat concerned that Frank isn't being cautious enough against Chelsea with the lineup choices
It's a really magical event. Good luck and have a great race!
