Emerging from the darkness of this era will require us to acknowledge that the previous status quo, including many institutions that may have served us well in another era, have been failing for my entire lifetime.
Very very true, but at least for me and so many people I know, exhaustion is over powered by the will to keep fighting. But you know, this fight on so many levels and throughout so many cultures, has to keep going!
The lies, deflection, and gaslighting is so exhausting! People that believe that side are either sheep-minded, ignorant, or racist. But I keep faith that the majority of people see it and this wanna-be regime for what it is and who they are.
He absolutely did! I live downtown Chicago and the violence happening against Black and Brown people from ICE is a disturbing tactic. But I think we understand here they’re waiting for violence, so you don’t see violent retaliation, just protesting and protecting community and each other.
Again, You’re 100%! We have to take what has been done and evolve. I hope we can remain physically peaceful on this side, but be more ruthless on strategies of conquering the other side. They want violence to give a reason to kill, which is what they truly want. We need some more MLKs and Malcolms
Agree 💯 TBH, although it is truly disgusting (not surprising) what is going on; I think this country needed a major wake up call to stop being so complicit and ignorant. Now that it is a blatant slap(s) in face of this country, we have to do something, do better, and be a trusting National party.
