Exactly. Hockey is the best sound sport in the world. Skates, sticks, pucks hitting glass, big bodies colliding. Most commentary just gets in the way.

Although there would be a huge gap between a Montreal crowd and a dead Toronto crowd.

Eliminate the press. Control the flow of information, so you can shape the narrative. Ensure that people only hear what the government tells them, and start to believe it without questioning the source-because nobody is there to challenge its veracity.
